These countries' emissions continue to rise each year, exacerbating the effects of climate change and underscoring the urgent need for immediate and effective action to reduce global CO2 emissions.

CO2 acts like a blanket in the atmosphere, trapping heat and raising global temperatures. As part of our tree planting program, it's essential to understand trees' vital role in our ecosystem. Often called the "lungs of the Earth," trees help store carbon dioxide and produce oxygen. They also contribute to stabilizing soil and reducing air temperature, humidity, and flooding. While the carbon absorption capacity can vary, on average, a tree can store around 50 pounds of CO2 annually. It would take 640 trees per person to offset all American emissions, equating to more than 200 billion trees.
